I’ve got another summer dessert recipe this week! It’s cold, fruity, and perfect for a hot summer day.
Raspberry Mango Sorbet!!
GO STRAIGHT TO TO RASPBERRY MANGO SORBET RECIPEThis is a super simple recipe so I’m gonna make this short for you all. You are going to want to get your frozen mangoes, frozen berries, and corn syrup. You can make as much or as little as you want, but i personally used about 1 and a half cups of each frozen fruit.
Then you are going to start with the mangos and put them into a blender. I guesstimate how much corn syrup to use because it definitely depends on how sweet you want your sorbet. I did about 6 circles of squirting the corn syrup into the blender.
Now blend it all together! Don’t worry the chunks will probably get stuck together a bit so make sure to stop and stir it every once in awhile.
Once everything is smooth and creamy, taste a spoonful to make sure it is sweet enough for you, if not go ahead and add some more corn syrup. And pour the mango mix into a bowl to sit while you do the raspberries
Now repeat the same thing with the raspberries!
Once you have that mixed together you are going to want to strain out the raspberries if you don’t like too many seeds in your sorbet, like me!
Now you will notice that your raspberry mix might be more melted than your mangoes because you did them 2nd so they were sitting out longer before they were mixed. That is fine because we are going to put this in the freezer once we mix the two!
I alternately poured a bit of the raspberry mix and then a bit of the mango mix to create layers and used a knife to make a swirling design.
Pop that in the freezer for at least 3 hours and you are ready to eat it up.
If you’ve been reading my blogs by now, you know how much I like the aesthetic so of course, get your cutest sorbet dish and scoop yourself some and enjoy.
And guess what? I had my niece try this and she approves! She goes “mm, i really like the red part” haha! Tell me about you trying it in the comments below!
